Boxer - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Jane and Hudson
Description
Jane was wandering and lost during a bitter cold week in the winter with many people trying to catch her as she had no food or shelter and was emaciated. Finally, a small child was what made her trust and be caught :) She walked right up to the little girl, when no adults were able to get her to come even close. She licked and licked and licked that little girl's face, and was so grateful ultimately to be warm and to have food/water. The animal control that took her was not able to hold her for long, and soon her time was up and she was scheduled to be euthanized. Her photo was sent out to dozens of IL shelters and no one spoke up for her, some even said she was too ugly to be adoptable. We think she's stunning! She is housebroken, crate trained, SUPER affectionate, non destructive, likes male dogs, but cannot go to a home with cats or birds. She is especially bonded to another foster dog of ours, Hudson, if you wanted to adopt a pair of dogs, but she can also go to a home with another male dog, or would be perfectly happy as an only dog too. This dog is located in the Bloomington/Normal area.
