Boxer - Large - Young - Female - Dog - SASHA -VERY URGENT

Sasha is a sweetheart! She was picked up by the local police department and brought to the shelter as a stray on 8/30/09. She was running at large near Sunset Road in Clinton, IL. So far, nobody has called to claim little Sasha. She is wearing a collar, but no tags. We guess her to be approximately 7 months old. We have updated her shots at the shelter and she will be spayed on 9/16 if not reclaimed. She will be available for adoption as of that date. She doesn't seem to mind the other dogs around her and tries to play through the jail cells with those surrounding her. Please complete an application on our website at www.secondchanceforpets.com to be considered Sasha's life saver! She sits on deathrow and waits........ UPDATE: 10/28/09 - PLEASE HELP!!! Sasha has been in the shelter too long and, as one volunteer aptly put it, she is now "looking at the needle and the freezer." If not adopted soon, Sasha's time on earth will be up. Please consider this sweet girl! She LOVES to play, she knows sit, and she knows to drop her toys when you ask her too. Please help Sasha! She is too young to go to heaven. UPDATE: 11/7/09 - PLEASE HELP!!! Sasha will die here at the shelter if someone does not adopt her ASAP! The shelter is full! Every foster parent we have is loaded to the max. She has been here the longest, so her future is not bright. She is only a pup. She is so sweet and has such personality. Please, find it in your heart to help save Sasha! We do not want to see her die. What a tragedy it would be to put down a perfectly healthy, friendly young dog. UPDATE: 11-17-09 - Sasha has about a week left, at the most. She will be euthanized if not adoped in that time period. She is VERY URGENT!! Even if she could get a foster home, that would save her from death row!
